Membership is by departmental subscription (unless unaffiliated), and it welcomes all those engaged in the teaching and study of English in Higher Education.

UE is a non-profit organisation. Departmental fees enable us to sponsor resources and data, facilitate events and collaborations, and campaign in support and defence of the subject.
